The Art Collectors..a blog

I've been reading about the sorry state facing the auction houses both here and across the pond especially with the upcoming sales of contemporary art. Bloomberg reports that estimates are down 70% from a year ago for prices on similar works and that guarantees by the houses are a thing of the past.
