Hmm -I think a lot of those buildings, especially the post-modernist designs, look ugly now to some but are historically important and were once considered beautiful and will be again someday. This seems to be based on current 'tastes' and I'm not neccesarily going to agree with them because I think you should look at the larger picture. Otherwise some of the most 'beautiful' buildings in the world would have been torn down at one point or another. Think of Penn station in NYC!
However, I'm really glad to see something by Gehry included (whom I think is the most over-rated current architect).

Wow - the basket building is something. I find it oddly intriguing. Wouldn't it be great if the handles were purposed for some kind of eco-energy something-or-other. Off to check out the others.
